The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) Jobs Chief Executive Officer (CEO):

The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) is an independent regulatory Authority, established under Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act, 2018
The Authority aims to introduce and ensure quality assurance in healthcare services and accountability through developing and enforcing minimum services delivery
standards at all healthcare establishments at the primary, secondary and tertiary level in the public and private sectors in Islamabad Capital Authority (ICT). IHRA
is inviting applications of qualified and experienced candidates for the position of CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) at IHRA in Islamabad.
Reporting to the Board of the Authority

QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters or equivalent in hospital or public administration, public health, medicine, accounting, finance, law, regulation or other related field
Additional higher qualification in law, management and/or clinical/ medical subjects will be given preference.

EXPERIENCE (Clause 12(1) of 1HR Act, 2018):

A minimum of fifteen years of experience in hospital or public administration, public health, medicine, accounting, finance, law, regulation or other related field.
Preference will be given to the candidates having substantial understanding of Government procedures, policies, rules and regulations.
Previous experience of relevant working experience in a healthcare field will be preferred

AGE: Maximum 62 Years
COMPENSATION PACKAGE: Highly competitive
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (Sub-clause (a-g) of Clause 12(3) and clause 12(2) of IHR Act, 2018)

Responsible for management, operations and governance of the Authority under overall supervision and control of the Board of Authority.
Provide top level leadership vision and strategic directions to all aspects of the Authority’s activities.
Assist Board in all elements of the Authority’s work especially on matters related to strategic planning,
Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Authority’s functions.
Act as Principal Accounting Officer responsible and accountable or the management of the Authority’s funds and assets:
Prepare and present to the Board with strategic and operational plans for its review and appraisal;
Assist the Board in strategic thinking, planning and implementing its policies;
Protect the financial health of the Authority;
Act as spokesperson of the Authority and
Provide leadership to the senior management and direction to all Staff

IHRA reserve the right to stop the recruitment process anytime as it may have deemed appropriate.
The Appointment will be Contract based which can be extended on the basis of performance/ requirements.
Age relaxation would be admissible as applicable (Government policies).

The services of the appointees will be governed under the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) Act 2018 and rules/ regulations made their under.
Personnel currently serving with the government organizations should apply through proper channel (copy of the NOC from parent department must be attached along with application)
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Test/ Interview.
Incomplete applications/ documents will not entertained after due date and will stand rejected.

Candidate will be disqualified and/ or excluded from interview if He/ She was, convicted by court of law, dismissed/terminated from public service, OR knowingly finishes any false information, OR surpasses any information which may lead to his/her disqualifications OR attempt to obtain support for his/her candidature by improper means submits forged certificates OR temper with the entries in higher age and academic certificates/ documents.
Candidate can also be disqualified as per clause 13(a-f) of 1HR Act, 2018
