Team Lead Bakery

Education: Matriculation/Intermediate

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 Years (Experience in Food Retail & Bakery will be preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the preparation of all listed and scheduled production articles with finesse.
• Ensure all articles are prepared as per standard preparation requirements.
• Ensure All production scheduled has been produced on time & sufficient quantities are available.
• Follow requirements as per daily/weekly/monthly schedule & follow schedules accordingly.
• Be available for functions as they arise to ensure that the cakes & fresh articles are prepared and served as required.
• Responsible for the overall Bakery & Café departments management.
• Participate in production planning meeting with Head Baker / Assistant Floor Manager, Floor Manager & Store Manager.
• Ensure production area & equipment are kept clean & neat using “clean as you go” principle.
• Staff must wear correct SPAR uniform and protective clothing.
• Ensure cold chain is maintained and products are not left unattended.
• Follow the first in first out principle to storing products/ingredients.
• Review quality of products & Liaise with bakery serving staff on production requirements throughout the day.
• Temperature checks are conducted and recorded at least twice a day.
