Position: Dy. General Manager – Compliance
As a General Manager specializing in Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and promoting a culture of compliance within our organization. You will oversee compliance initiatives across various domains including social, environmental, technical, quality, product safety, fire safety, electric safety, building stability, sustainability, and circularity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies, procedures, and systems to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to proactively address compliance challenges.
• Champion a culture of safety excellence throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement health and safety programs, training, and initiatives to minimize workplace hazards and promote employee well-being.
• Develop and implement CSR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s values, mission, and stakeholder expectations.
• Prepare CSR reports and disclosures to communicate the company’s social and environmental impact to internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for Customer COC audits.
• Responsible for certifications and portals of Higg FEM, STeP, Amfori BEPI, H&M Portal, Bhive, ZDHC Gateway, Supplier to Zero, Higg FEM, STeP, Amfori BEPI, Amfori BSCI, H&M Portal, Bhive, ZDHC Gateway, Supplier to Zero, SBTi, Net to Zero, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000, SMETA, WRAP, Better Work, Higg, FSLM, SLCP, BRC, GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, BCI, OEKO-TEX, STEP MIG, CTPAT, WWF, ICS Social, ICS Environment, GTW, CTW, UNGC – COP, Building Stability, ETP, Environmental Monitoring, GHG Emissions Reduction, Stack emissions control, LEED.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of driving results and implementing best practices in compliance, health and safety, and CSR.
Qualifications & Experience:
• MBA/MPA (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10 to 15 Years of experience in compliance management, including social, environmental, technical, quality, product safety, fire safety, electric safety, building stability, sustainability, and circularity preferably in the Textile Sector.
