SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters office, Lahore for appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff of Signal Department on contract basis for a period of one year from suitable candidates having retired on superannuation i.e., 60 years as posts mentioned against each subject to physical fitness.

Terms & Conditions / eligibility: Retired Sub: Engineer/Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-16)

AGE LIMIT:- Maximum age limit shall be 62 years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONTRACT APPOINTMENT:-

Only those candidates who have worked on above category will be eligible for contract appointment.
The selected candidates will draw their salary, according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled for any kind of distributed towards gratuity and pension.
Period of contract one year should be extendable further for one year if required by Pakistan Railways.
The competent authority has the right to reject any application for contract appointment without assigning any reason.
Number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
Selected candidates will be required to pass medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
Those who retired compulsory removed dismissed or retired on Medical Ground will not be eligible for appointment.
Call letter will only be issued to the candidates eligible for contract appointments.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interview and Medical examination.
The selected persons will be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:- Application must be accompanied by the attested copies of the following Necessary Certificates and testimonials: a. All educational certificates b. National Identity Card (Computerized) c. Railway retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate d. Photocopy of PPO e. Photocopy of LPC f. Service Certificate g. Three (03) fresh passport size photographs h. Three (03) postal envelops (with RAD card) and complete address Cell No. written thereon also be sent (linked) with application. i. Experience certificate of renowned organization.
