SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited for the engagement on contract basis in the Directorate of Land Management Headquarters Office, Lahore in the following categories in the light of Ministry of Railways, Islamabad letter No. 40(4)/2008-F and G dated 14.04.2008.

POSITIONS & QUALIFICATION DETAILS

1. Manager Property and Land
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; or equivalent qualification registration with PEC having 05 years relevant experience of land management or equivalent.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
2. Manager Legal
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) or MBA or any other relevant degree having 05 years post-qualification in the relevant field.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
3. Manager Contract
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: Master in Business Administration (Marketing/Finance) or Master of Law (LLM) having 05 years post qualification experience in the relevant field. (Contract Management)
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
4. Manager Geographical Information System (GIS)
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: Master degree in Geographical Information System from HEC recognized university or any other relevant qualification (minimum 16 years education) having minimum 05 to 06 years of relevant experience.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
5. Manager Land Revenue
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: BA/BSc retired Deputy Director/Assistant Director/Tehsildar Revenue must have served for at least 15 years in the Provincial Land Revenue Department.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
6. Manager Land Commercial
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning or Bachelor Degree in City & Regional Planning or MBA Marketing/Finance or any other relevant degree having 05 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

7. Manager Licensing
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-18
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning or Bachelor Degree in City & Regional Planning or MBA Marketing/Finance or any other relevant degree having 05 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

8. Assistant Manager Prevention
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-17

- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification) with registration of PEC.

9. Judicial Magistrate
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-17

- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree of Law (LLB) from recognized university having minimum 07 years of active practice as an advocate along with high court license.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
10. Assistant Manager Commercial
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-17

- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) or any other relevant qualification having 03 years of post-qualification experience in marketing (preferably in real estate & land management sector).

11. Assistant Manager Contract
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-17

- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) or Bachelor Degree of Law (LLB) having 03 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

12. Land Inspector
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-16
- Vacancies: 4
- Qualification & Experience: Three Years Diploma DAE (Civil) recognized by the Board of Technical Institutions having 08 years relevant experience.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
13. GIS Supervisor
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-16
- Vacancies: 6
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor/Master degree in Geographical Information System from HEC recognized University, Master Degree in GIS will be given preference having minimum 03 to 05 years of relevant experience (mapping of lands, cartography, geo-referencing, spatial analysis, analyze revenue record, maintain/create geo data base, maintain spatial data).

14. Assistant Developer GIS
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-16
- Vacancies: 6
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor/Master degree in Geographical Information System from HEC recognized University, Master Degree in GIS will be given preference having minimum 03 to 05 years of relevant experience (mapping of lands, cartography, geo-referencing, spatial analysis, analyze revenue record, maintain/create geo data base, maintain spatial data).

15. Inspector Land Revenue
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-16

- Qualification & Experience: BA/BSc retired Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Qanungo Revenue must have served for at least 10 years in the Provincial Revenue Department.
- Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
16. Inspector Anti Encroachment
- Emoluments: Emoluments will be given equivalent to BPS-16
- Vacancies: 7
- Qualification & Experience: BA/BSc Ex-Army Officer to the Rank of Subedar Major, Retired Assistant Director Anti-encroachment Cell from District Government.

3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

Eligibility of the candidates shall be determined on the basis of applicant’s qualification, relevant experience, performance in written test and interview (70% Written Test + 30% Interview).
The candidates who are serving in Railways or any other government department shall apply through proper channel along with departmental NOC.
Incomplete applications or applications carrying incorrect information shall be rejected. If any document provided by candidate is found bogus during recruitment process or afterwards, the appointment will be treated as canceled and legal action will be taken.
The selected officials/officers if required undergo training at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton or Land Directorate as deemed necessary.
The Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan Railways system.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for test and interview.
The selected candidates are required to pass prescribed Medical Examination.

4. FRINGE BENEFITS & FACILITIES

Accommodation may be provided, if the selected candidates desire so, as per priority list maintained with Railways administration.
TA/DA will be allowed as admissible to other civil servants.
Additional increments will be added in salaries of selected candidates according to the years of experience in their respective fields. They will be entitled for Annual Increments as per the relevant pay scale.
The contract period is for 02 + 01 years, which is extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of competent authority.
All facilities including duty passes/privilege passes/PTOs, medical facilities from the Railways hospitals which are given to officer of equivalent scale, will be admissible excluding pension/gratuity/GPF.

Note:-

Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject any application (s) or suspend/cancel the process without conveying any reason. It may alter the number and distribution of vacancies.
Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.

They must also attach postal orders worth Rs.1500/- as processing fee for each application. No application shall be considered without processing fee (postal order).
