MCB Islamic Bank is inviting CVs for the position of “Unit Head-Compliance Assurance & Internal Controls” based in Lahore. Please only apply if you fulfill the criteria mentioned in the job details.

LOCATION: Lahore

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from HEC recognized University.

EXPERIENCE: 10-12 years of Banking experience in Compliance, Audit, Internal Controls/ Operations (Preferably in 1-2 years in a same role)

DESIRED SKILLS:

Ensure effective and timely completion of Branch/ Management Function Reviews w.r.t. applicable AML/CFT/ CPF laws and regulations.
Manage and Conduct thematic off-site and on-site reviews of branch operation areas based on AML/CFT/CPF regulatory requirements.
Manage own work assignments and team members to complete Annual Operational Plan and other reviews/ assignments within target.
Provide feedback to Department Head on control lapses by identifying their associated risks and provide necessary on-site trainings to address such issues.
Review and Update Compliance Program, Compliance Risk Policy and Compliance Risk Strategy documents upon their renewals.
Conduct Annual Assessment on Control effectiveness of AML/ CFT areas.
Ensure and support Head Compliance Assurance & IC in devising strategy in reference to prevailing AML/ CFT Challenges.
Ensure effective implementation of AML/ CFT practices within the bank.
Develop up-to-date training material on AML/CFT/CPF regulations and impart trainings to Bank staff.
Ensure continuous efforts to improve the Compliance culture within the bank, so that the efficiency and effectiveness can be maximized.
Ensure activities within the Unit are being performed accurately, thoroughly, and in accordance with policies, procedures and best practices.
Must have strong communication, MIS management skills/ dashboard reporting and have hands-on experience/ expertise in data analytics.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:Within Pakistan, as and when required.
