MCB Islamic Bank is inviting CVs for the position of “Department Head Information Security Compliance / Governance & IT Security Awareness” based in Lahore. Please only apply if you fulfill the criteria mentioned in the job details.
CITY/LOCATION : Lahore
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience in GRC, cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance roles.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Developing and maintaining cybersecurity framework, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
o Ensuring cybersecurity practices are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
o Keeping up-to-date with changes in the regulatory landscape and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment of GRC and ISMS activities.
o Engage with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and business partners, to address compliance requirements and maintain positive relationships.
o Collaborating with teams to develop and implement strategies for detecting, responding to, and recovering from cybersecurity incidents.
o Conducting post-incident analysis to identify areas for improvement.
o Developing and delivering cybersecurity training programs for employees to raise awareness about cybersecurity best practices and promote a culture of security within the organization.
o Work with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with applicable information security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.
DESIRED SKILLS :
o Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, along with several years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance roles.
o Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are required.
o Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
