Finance Business Partner – Category & Commercial (Location – HO – Raiwind)
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Category & Commercial Finance Business Partner to support profitable growth across brands and categories. This role will play a critical part in brand performance management, strategic planning, and revenue optimization, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams. The role requires strong ownership of financial planning cycles, commercial controlling, and revenue management levers, including pricing and pack architecture.
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning for assigned categories and brands
- Drive Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and strategic business plans aligned with company objectives
- Track and analyze brand and category performance (volume, revenue, margin, market share)
- Deliver actionable insights on performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Support brand teams in evaluating marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness
- Monitor innovation and new product launch performance
- Ensure strong financial governance over commercial spend, including trade promotions and discounts
- Improve visibility and control over gross-to-net (GTN) components
- Develop and optimize pack price architecture (PPA) to maximize profitability and competitiveness
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to support strategic initiatives
- Prepare monthly performance reviews and business reports
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
- Support investment decisions with ROI analysis
- Track KPIs including revenue, gross margin, and contribution margins
What we’re looking for
- MBA Finance/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA or a Bachelor’s in Finance & Accounting
- 7-8 years of relevant experience in Commercial & Category Business Partnering
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP
