Who are we looking for?

Master’s in computer science with specialization in infrastructure-related subjects, Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems or equivalent qualification from a reputed local or foreign university
Minimum 10 Years of relevant experience. Prior work experience in banking environment would be a big plus point though not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing IT staff, projects and equipment to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT. this includes but not limited to:

Develop, maintain, support and optimize network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications and telecommunications systems.
Implement policies and procedures related to IT infrastructure, procurement, disaster recovery etc.
Set and maintain service level agreements along with monitoring and reporting performance metrics.
Provide high level of customer service.
Oversee infrastructure vendor management contract review and manage within budgetary constraints.
Ensure root-cause analysis is completed for all service outages.
Develop and recommend ongoing IT internal process refinement and improvements.
Implement a strategic plan to improve supportability of the infrastructure. Negotiate, agree and maintain IT support service level agreements with the departments within the organization.
Produce regular reports on service performance and achievement to the departments and to Head IT.
Conduct annual reviews of the entire Service Level process and negotiate agree and control any amendments necessary.
Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve company workflow.
Maintain and test disaster recovery procedures and documentation. Manage user services such as Help Desk offerings and training program.
Train, motivate and supervise IT staff reporting in to this position.
Prepare and recommend annual departmental budget in concerned domains. Plan, implement and maintain the IT infrastructure.

Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal effective
Have knowledge of project management.
Experienced in developing, implementing and testing disaster recovery plans,
Be current with knowledge of relevant technologies that encompass telecommunications, LANIWAN, operating systems, servers, network and security devices, internet/web-based systems.
Contract negotiation/vendor relationship management skills.
Have ability to exercise judgment in analyzing, appraising, evaluating, and solving problems of difficult procedural or technical nature.
