Who are we looking for?
Someone with Bachelors in IT/ Engineering/ Computer Science from a reputed HEC-recognized university/institution & Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent in a large organization with multi-branch architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Support
- EXALOGIC & EXADATA engineering systems health check
- Performing system administration with respect to EXALOGIC & EXADATA
- Performing Linux Operating System administration & Configuration
- Oracle hardware ILOM Administration, configuration and management
- Provision of Oracle VMs and installation & configuration of Linux Operating System
- Routine Linux System maintenance and performance tuning & monitoring.
- Support activities included, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of
- LINUX Package management, user group administration, access right and
- Privileges, upgrades, kernel tuning, firmware upgrades, etc.
- Provide efficient support and administration of NFS shares.
- Oracle Exalogic Hardware Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
- Oracle EMOC Administration, configuration and management
- Administrating UAT/DEV/STAGING environments
- Disaster Recovery site administration, management and update
24×7 support
- Compliance, Reporting and Security
- Monitor and assess the efficiency, usage of Servers and develop action plan for improvement.
- Implement and ensure full compliance of policies and procedures of Data Center.
Skills:
- Must have a good knowledge of data center standards.
- Basic Hands on experience on EXALOGIC, EMOC, EMCC, OVM & relevant technologies.
- Basic administration knowledge of EXALOGIC / EXADATA & Oracle ZFS.
- Should have ability to schedule & script the routine jobs, experience with automation tools to schedule the routine jobs and minimize manual interventions is a plus.
- Must have strong knowledge & hands on experience of Linux Administration
