Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architect and project manager to translate project requirements and concepts into detailed architectural designs. Contribute creative and innovative design ideas while adhering to budget, timeline, and regulatory constraints.
- Create architectural drawings, plans, and schematics using relevant software tools. Prepare accurate and comprehensive documentation for client presentations, project reviews, and construction.
- Assist in coordinating project activities, including communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure smooth collaboration and information flow throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in site visits to assess construction progress, identify design discrepancies, and ensure adherence to design intent. Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve any emerging issues.
- Gain an understanding of local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements. Ensure that design proposals align with these standards and secure necessary approvals.
- Research and evaluate construction materials, finishes, and building systems to ensure optimal performance, durability, and sustainability in projects.
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations to internal teams, and stakeholders. Clearly communicate design concepts and ideas using appropriate visual aids.
- Utilize industry-standard architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting, modeling, and presentation purposes.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project execution.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite and 3D render software such as 3ds Max, Enscape or V-Ray.
- Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Portfolio showcasing completed projects and design capabilities is a plus.
