Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing and maintaining various systems, including Office 365, Azure, virtualization technologies, as well as proficiency in Unix and macOS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain Office 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. Oversee Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Networking.
· Configure, deploy, and maintain virtualized environments using platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. Monitor virtual infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
· Handle domain registration, DNS management, and web hosting services. Ensure domain configurations align with security best practices and business requirements.
· Provide support and administration for Unix-based systems and macOS environments. Configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and networking components in these environments.
· Implement security measures and best practices across all systems to safeguard company data and infrastructure. Stay updated on security vulnerabilities and patches, ensuring systems are patched and up-to-date.
· Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for critical systems and data. Test and validate backup integrity regularly to ensure recoverability in the event of a disaster.
· Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to systems, applications, and infrastructure. Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or vendors as needed.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a System Engineer role.
· Proficiency in managing Office 365 services, Azure infrastructure, and virtualization technologies.
· Experience with domain registration, DNS management, and web hosting.
· Strong knowledge of Unix-based operating systems and macOS.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
