ICI Pakistan Ltd. is hiring a Market Research Manager for its Chemicals and Agri business based in Karachi. The primary responsibility of this role will be to drive commercial and business excellence by designing, planning and implementing commercial processes, projects, and initiatives to maximise top and bottom-line results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales and other functions for sales force effectiveness and other margin optimisation initiatives.
- Liaise the principals/suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and track KPIs to support decision-making and business health monitoring.
- Perform in-depth market research and market mapping to propose and implement business growth and profitability optimisation initiatives.
- Develop and manage pricing policies across all segments.
- Develop the annual sales budget and marketing plan in line with business strategy.
- Sales funnel management to identify opportunities and expand the business’s market footprint.
- Prepare presentations for the business’s Executive Team relating to strategy, business performance and market outlook.
- Maintain a connection with customers via field visits (as required).
- Monitor current market, products, trends, and competition in the market for all chemicals products, locally and internationally.
- Prepare proposals to maintain the existing business and look for additional avenues for topline expansion.
