Position: Team Lead (Engineering)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Perform calibrations, adjustments and major repairs & maintenance activities of all hotel systems.
- Supervise and/or perform repair and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical equipment and minor installations as and when required.
- Supervise Engineering team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with designated specifications.
- Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical & civil faults.
- Respond, attend and ensure closure of all guest complaints and/or repair requests within stipulated time.
- Plan corrective and preventive maintenance of all engineering equipment.
- Resolve emergency cases or breakdown which can disturb the hotel operations.
- Monitor energy consumption, take measures to ensure efficient utilization of energy enabling organization to save cost.
- Ensure all equipment and fixture in guest rooms and back of the house are in operational condition e.g., television, refrigerator, telephone etc.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to the team members in order to uplift their capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Manage the roster of team to ensure availability of requisite manpower per shift.
QUALIFICATION
Minimum DAE (Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent accredited by a Board of Technical Education or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 – 6 years of proven experience in a similar role.
