We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Sr. Officer to support corporate legal operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage legal matters across the organization.
Position: Senior Officer – Legal
Department: Legal
Location: Karachi (Head Office)
Qualification & Experience
- LLB or LLM from a recognized institution
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a corporate environment
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Manage Intellectual Property (IP) matters including registrations and protection
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Handle filing of SECP forms and provide assistance to the Company Secretary
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory support to internal stakeholders
- Manage litigation matters and assist in dispute resolution processes
- Liaise with external legal counsels and coordinate with internal departments
- Monitor legal risks and provide proactive recommendations
- Maintain legal documentation and ensure audit readiness
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of corporate and commercial laws
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
