Position: Draftsman (3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering)
Location: Fatima Fert Plant Site, Sheikhupura
Key Responsibilities
- Operate handheld/portable 3D scanners to capture geometry of existing, worn, damaged, or obsolete components where original drawings are unavailable.
- Process and clean scan data (point clouds and mesh) into usable reference geometry.
- Develop detailed 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings from 3D models, including dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, weld symbols, and machining callouts.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) correctly to ensure parts are manufacturable and fit-for-purpose.
Qualification & Experience
- DAE Mechanical or B.Tech Mechanical Engineering with more than 8 years of drafting experience in manufacturing, heavy engineering, or workshop environment.
