EY Ford Rhodes Pakistan Jobs Senior Associate Procurement: EY Ford Rhodes requires profiles for the position of Senior Associate-Procurement to be based in its Karachi office. The role will involve evaluating suppliers in order to find the best deals possible on goods that are needed for Firm’s operations.
Responsibilities:
- Compare prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions.
- Work within a given budget to purchase goods and services for an organization.
- Negotiate with contractors on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time.
- Check invoices for accuracy, and authorizes the accounts payable department to issue payment.
- Evaluate the performance of certain vendors in order to decide whether or not to continue buying from them.
- Inventory items in order to determine which ones need to be purchased.
- Enter data concerning inventory and order amounts into a computer database.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management
Experience
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
Competencies
- Good proficiency in Urdu and English.
- MS Office Proficiency
- Team Player
- Trustworthy and dependable
