The SAP B1 ERP Officer will be responsible for the effective administration, maintenance, customization, and optimization of SAP Business One. The role involves supporting end-users, improving business processes, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with various departments to enhance system utilization.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, solid knowledge of SAP B1 modules, and hands-on experience in managing ERP configurations and integrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day operations of SAP Business One across all company departments.
- Provide first and second-level user support — troubleshooting, resolving issues, and escalating complex cases as needed.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and data security.
- Maintain user roles, authorizations, and access rights.
- Participate in SAP B1 implementation, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
- Customize forms, queries, and reports using SAP B1 tools (e.g., Query Generator, Crystal Reports, B1 Usability Package, etc.).
- Configure and optimize key modules such as Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Production, and MRP.
- Collaborate with functional departments to analyze business processes and identify automation or efficiency opportunities.
- Assist in data migration, cleansing, and validation during system changes or upgrades.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and prepare user manuals.
- Design and generate operational and management reports using Crystal Reports, SAP Query Generator, or SQL-based tools.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and compliance with company policies.
- Support management with analytical insights for decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in ERP administration or support, with at least 2+ years hands-on experience in SAP Business One.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and SAP B1 SDK or Integration Framework (B1iF) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP B1 modules (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Production). Basic knowledge of database management (SQL).
- Experience with add-ons and integrations (e.g., Boyum, TaskCentre, Shopify, or custom APIs).
- Familiarity with data backup and system maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
