Position: Taxation Executive
Location: Karachi
Department: Finance
Qualification: CA Intermediate/MBA Finance or any other relevant qualification
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience, FMCG preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for preparation and filing of Federal Sales Tax returns considering all applicable laws and regulations.
- To be updated with tax laws and regulation, analyzing the impact on business and implementing the same.
- To be responsible for preparation and maintenance of Management Dashboard on periodic basis to ensure effective decision making.
- To ensure preparation and filing of Monthly provincial withholding tax Returns.
- To be responsible for preparation and Filing of Quarterly Income Tax Withholding Statements
- To be responsible for preparation of workings related to Income Tax Return considering all applicable laws and regulations.
- To provide assistance in preparation of Advance tax working and ensuring that advance tax liability is discharged timely and as per the requirements of law.
- To provide assistance on preparation of workings for getting exemption certificate and coordination with tax authorities and consultants to get the exemption timely.
- To manage all notices regarding monitoring and audit, liaison with tax consultants and review the responses to the tax authorities by the tax consultants.
- To find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures including preparation of SOP’s.
- To be responsible for advising relevant stakeholders regarding applicable withholding tax laws considering all laws and regulations.
