DFL is looking for a Specialist – Mechanical Engineering for Denim to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of denim production machinery by executing preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
The ideal candidate should be able to:
- Execute preventive, corrective, and lubrication maintenance of denim machinery
- Attend breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime
- Diagnose faults and implement permanent corrective solutions through RCA
- Coordinate with production for planned maintenance and safe machine handover
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery
- Ensure alignment, calibration, and operational readiness of equipment
- Assist in spare parts planning and cost-effective maintenance solutions
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare periodic reports
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance SOPs
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance machine reliability and availability
Qualification & Experience
- BE / BSc Mechanical Engineering
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience. Preference will be given to candidates with textile/denim machinery exposure
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
