GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB JOB OPPORTUNITY

Board of Revenue, Punjab (BOR) is responsible for collecting various government dues including Agriculture Income Tax, Stamp duty, Mutation Fee etc. which form a significant portion of Government of the Punjab’s own-source revenue. For efficient tax administration the BOR intends to hire the services of highly experienced professional as Director General (Taxes). Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the said post in MPS-II, on contract basis. Eligibility criteria and salary for the post are as under:-

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Required Qualification and Experience:
- Ph.D. in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Public Finance, Development Economics or relevant subject with 10 years post qualification professional experience in land administration and taxes.

16 years’ education in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Public Finance, Development Economics or relevant subject with 14 years post qualification professional experience in land administration or taxation.
Age Limit: 45-57 (to be calculated on the closing date of submission of applications)
Tenure of contract: Three (03) years, extendable as per Management Pay Scales (MPS) of Punjab 2023.
Termination of Contract: On completion of tenure or one month’s notice from either side as per Management Pay Scales (MPS) of Punjab 2023.
Pay Package: Rs. 619,650/- (MPS-II) Plus Rs. 26,760/- annual increment

viii. Only eligible applicants will be invited for interviews.
