Position: Assistant Manager – QC (Yarn Dyeing)
Location: Faisalabad
Role Summary
- Support the effective execution of Quality Planning, Assurance, and Development (QPAD) activities within the yarn dyeing process.
- Ensure dyed yarn consistently meets customer specifications (shade accuracy, strength, and overall quality consistency).
- Inspect raw materials, monitor dyeing parameters, test finished products, and manage documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Textile Chemistry or a relevant field.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in yarn dyeing quality or wet processing industries.
Essential Competencies
- Knowledge of shade development, testing methods, quality standards, and visual color assessment.
- Ability to evaluate yarn defects before and after dyeing.
- Identification and analysis of dyeing defects (uneven dyeing, patchiness, staining, etc.).
- Proficiency in handling shade variations and implementing corrective actions.
- Understanding of dyeing process flow from pre-treatment to finishing.
- Control of critical dyeing parameters (temperature, pH, time, liquor ratio, pressure).
- Understanding of customer-specific requirements and compliance protocols.
- Excellent understanding of shade matching and color evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of yarn dyeing processes and dyes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
