Vacancy Announcement: Assistant Manager, Engineering Underwriting& Facultative Reinsurance
Job Responsibilities:
- Undertaking engineering underwriting, which includes project insurances. Analyzing risks by reviewing risk information, proposal forms, time schedules, scope of work, risk evaluation reports, or other information received from Divisions/Branches. Processing quotations, policies, and endorsements.
- Collaborating with divisions/branches and the commercial team in the South to fulfill clients’ requirements.
- Organizing facultative reinsurance arrangements concerning Engineering Businesses within AICL South, AICL Corporate Division, and AICL North.
- Managing correspondence with foreign/local reinsurers and brokers, following established guidelines and instructions.
- Handling the processing of facultative reinsurance documents and requesting notes/reinsurance slips.
- Assisting and liaising with the Reinsurance Department in various tasks, such as processing cession sheets, reinsurance slips, facultative R/I acceptances, premium closing, reconciliation, and settlement with local reinsurers.
- Managing the processing of local facultative reinsurance acceptances, including related documentation.
