Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – Supply Chain (Imports) to join our team in Karachi. This role focuses on managing import activities within the supply chain for a switchgear manufacturing facility, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of international materials and components. The ideal candidate will have a background in import processes, vendor management, and compliance with import regulations, along with experience in supply chain operations within the manufacturing sector.

· Source, evaluate, and manage international suppliers for raw materials and components required for switchgear manufacturing.
· Negotiate contracts and terms with overseas suppliers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and reliability of supply.
· Collaborate with the production team to align import schedules with manufacturing needs.
· Prepare, verify, and manage import documentation (such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and letters of credit) to ensure smooth customs clearance.
Requirements:
Qualification: BBA/MBA Supply Chain
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in MS office ERP systems and supply chain software.
Location: Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi
