Responsibilities

•Head of Local regulatory Reporting unit responsible for ensuring data completeness, integrity, timeliness and accuracy in regulatory reporting to Central bank.
•Prepare the annual, half yearly and quarterly Financial Statements of the bank in accordance with the applicable standards and SBP guidelines within the prescribed time.
•Exercise oversight over regulatory reporting done by Budapest CoE
•Liaise with Budapest regulatory reporting team for all regulatory reporting related matters
•To facilitate the external auditors in conducting the annual audit, half year review and ICFR audit of the bank within the specified timelines.
•Analyzing and interpreting new regulatory rules and guidance
•To ensure that all the necessary accounting and regulatory reporting changes are properly and accurately implemented
•To exercise oversight over reports prepared by FRO for head-office reporting
•To conduct Regulatory reporting Governance Committee and Balance Sheet Review Committee meetings
•To lead initiatives and projects involving Citibank N.A Pakistan finance
•Coordination of monthly accrual process
•Review of monthly accrual entries
•Advising Operations and other department son accounting matters
•Accounting advisory to business for new products or transactions
•Liaise with Regional Finance for projects, queries, and escalations
•Liaise with stakeholders from various business, functions and operations to achieve common reporting goals
•Act as one of the Citi interface with local regulatory authorities in Pakistan along-with the CFO
•Lead the quarterly MCA exercise and other control activities in finance
Qualifications

Qualifications and skills required

•CA / ACCA or other equivalent professional with at least seven year experience
•Banking experience is prerequisite
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Expert knowledge of excel and power point
•Multitasking skills
•Self-motivated and ability to work independently
•Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines
