JOB OPPORTUNITIES: WAPDA is currently looking for competent, dedicated, dynamic and self-motivated retired personnel of Armed Forces (only those who have completed rank / colored service) for the following positions on regular basis as per WAPDA Rules / policy:

1. Assistant Vigilance Officer (Field)

BPS: 14
No. of Vacant Posts: 01
Maximum Age Limit: 52 Years
Qualification / Experience:
Naib Subedar or equivalent from retired personnel of Armed Forces having passed Secondary School Certificate Examination with “C” Grade / 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Must be Intelligence course qualified with a field intelligence experience of 05 years.

2. Inspector Vigilance (Field)

BPS: 11
No. of Vacant Posts: 08
Maximum Age Limit: 52 Years
Qualification / Experience:
Havildar or equivalent from retired personnel of Armed Forces having passed Secondary School Certificate Examination with “C” Grade / 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Must be Intelligence course qualified with a field experience of intelligence duty for 03 years.

3. Inspector Vigilance Staff / Assistant

BPS: 11
No. of Vacant Posts: 01
Maximum Age Limit: 52 Years
Qualification / Experience:
Havildar or equivalent from retired personnel of Armed Forces having passed Secondary School Certificate Examination with “C” Grade / 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Must be computer literate and preference will be given to supervisory clerk course qualified.

INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS

Only eligible / shortlisted candidates will be called for test / interview and no TA/DA will be admissible.
Written / Screening test shall be conducted by WAPDA Exam Cell.
No further age relaxation is allowed in prescribed age limit. Age will be calculated as on last date of receipt of applications.
Original documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of interview.
All Ex-Servicemen for appointment as Vigilance Staff should be medically category ‘A’ and character at the time of discharge from the Armed Forces should be “Exemplary” or equivalent.
The officials who have been retired / weeded out of service on disciplinary ground as well as dismissed or debarred for future employment are not eligible.
The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of 01 year and regularization subject to satisfactory performance. However, the services may be dispensed with without any notice in case of unsatisfactory work & conduct during the probation period.
Applications carrying incomplete / incorrect information or received after last date shall be rejected. Any information / documents found bogus at any stage during induction or later in service will result in termination thereof.
Roll No. Slips containing the information regarding test center, timings and test date shall be dispatched to candidates.
WAPDA reserves the right to withhold / cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

HOW TO APPLY

Application form is available on WAPDA’s website i.e. www.wapda.gov.pk.
Candidates shall submit Rs. 400/- as application fee in favour of Director (Exams) WAPDA A/C No. 0010000019473924, Allied Bank Limited, WAPDA House, Lahore Branch. Candidates who failed to submit application fee within due date will not be considered for exam.
The application forms duly filled along with a copy of CV, photocopies of Discharge Certificate, Course Report, CNIC, Attested Copies of all Educational / Experience Certificates, 02 recent passport size photographs and fee deposit receipt shall be submitted directly to Director (Vigilance) WAPDA, 217-WAPDA House, Lahore through postal / courier service within 15 days of publication of advertisement.
By hand applications will neither be received nor entertained.
