SITUATIONS VACANT – WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding a Balochistan Domicile to appear for WALK-IN INTERVIEWS for the following vacant posts reserved for the Balochistan quota in FBR (Hqrs), Islamabad:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AGE LIMIT

1. Assistant (BPS-15)

Qualification / Experience:
(i) Bachelor degree from a university recognized by HEC.

(ii) Successful completion of a 6 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by the NITB shall be mandatory before expiry of the probation period; otherwise, the services of the appointee(s) shall be terminated without any notice.

Age Limit (including 5 years general relaxation):

Minimum: 18
Maximum: 28+5 = 33

2. Stenotypist (BPS-14)

Qualification / Experience:
(i) Intermediate.

(ii) A minimum speed of 80/40 w.p.m. in shorthand/typing respectively.

(iii) Must be computer literate.

Age Limit (including 5 years general relaxation):

Minimum: 18
Maximum: 25+5 = 30

3. Upper Division Clerk (BPS-13)

Qualification / Experience:
(i) Intermediate.

(ii) Successful completion of a 3 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by the NITB shall be mandatory before expiry of the probation period; otherwise, the services of the appointee(s) shall be terminated without any notice.

Age Limit (including 5 years general relaxation):

Minimum: 18
Maximum: 25+5 = 30

4. Lower Division Clerk (BPS-11)

Qualification / Experience:
(i) Matric.

(ii) Minimum Typing Speed of 30 WPM.

(iii) Successful completion of a 3 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by the NITB shall be mandatory before expiry of the probation period; otherwise, the services of the appointee(s) shall be terminated without any notice.

Age Limit (including 5 years general relaxation):

Minimum: 18
Maximum: 25+5 = 30

GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Vacancies are reserved only for candidates having Domicile of Balochistan Province.

2. All recruitment for posts in BPS-11 to BPS-15 shall be conducted through walk-in interviews only. No screening test or written test will be conducted. Candidates are advised to appear at the designated stations on the specified dates and times, as detailed below:

1. Regional Tax Office, Spinny Road, Quetta, Balochistan.

Date: 16th, 17th & 18th November, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

2. FBR Tax Facilitation Centre, Civic Centre G.T. Road, Hub, Balochistan.

Date: 20th & 21st November, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

3. Customs House, Gwadar International Terminal Limited (GITL), Gwadar Port, Pak-China Friendship Road, Gwadar, Balochistan.

Date: 23rd & 24th November, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

3. Candidates will be required to bring their original documents, including educational testimonials and domicile/valid residence certificate of Balochistan, along with one set of attested copies of all documents at the time of walk-in interview.

4. Candidates currently employed in government service must apply through the proper channel and bring a Departmental Certificate/No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the walk-in interview. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from participating in the selection process.

5. Five years general relaxation in upper age limit has already been included in the column of age limit in terms of Establishment Division O.M. No. 9/2/91-R-5 dated 24th June, 2010. In addition to the 05 years general age relaxation, following age relaxation would be admissible in the light of Establishment Division SRO No. 1004(I)/2016 dated 28th October, 2016 and O.M. dated 22.10.2026 as under:

(i) Candidates belonging to Balochistan for posts in BPS-15 and below under the Federal Government.

– 05 years age relaxation is applicable in terms of Establishment Division O.M. dated 22.10.2026 for candidates from Balochistan.

(ii) Released or Retired Officers/Persons of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

– 15 years or the number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.

(iii) Government Servants, who have completed at least 02 years’ continuous government service on the closing date of receipt of applications.

– 10 years, up to the age of 55 years.

(iv) Disabled persons for appointment to posts in BPS-15 and below.

– 10 years.

(v) Widow, son or daughter of a deceased civil servant, who died while in service.

– 05 years.

6. Age shall be calculated as on 16.11.2026.

7. The FBR reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process in part or whole or increase/decrease the number of posts, if the circumstances so warranted at the time of final selection.

8. Candidates are strictly advised to adhere to the above-mentioned date and time. All educational documents will be scrutinized before the walk-in interview. Only those candidates whose documents are complete and in proper order will be permitted to appear for the interview.

9. No TA/DA will be admissible for the Test/Interview.
