We’re Hiring: Finance Generalist!
If you have 3+ years of experience in the finance function of a general insurance company and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, we’d love to hear from you.
The role involves financial reporting, management accounts, bank reconciliations, SECP insurance returns, payments, tax reporting, and financial closing for both conventional and Window Takaful operations.
Candidates with strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, along with working knowledge of core insurance software, will be preferred.
We Are Hiring Finance Generalist – Karachi
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statement and related financial schedules.
- Manage and review bank reconciliations from multiple branches and ensure accuracy for reporting and audits.
- Prepare and submit quarterly SECP insurance returns, including the Statement of Solvency.
- Manage monthly FIF payments, SECP Reporting and related documentation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily expense booking, payment processing, month-end accruals, and financial closing for both conventional and window takaful operations.
- Preparation, processing and record keeping of claim cheques and coordination with Branches and Claims Department.
- Preparation, payment, record keeping and reporting of withholding taxes.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and the Board.
- Coordinate with Reinsurance and Claims teams to support effective financial reporting, operations, reconciliations and collaboration.
- Handle day-to-day finance-related activities and ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounts.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance function of a general insurance company.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of the core insurance software.
