ADVERTISEMENT FOR HIRING OF SCHOOL TEACHING INTERNS (STIs)

In pursuance of Notification No. SO(Estt)3-26/07(3859) dated 25-03-2026 issued by the Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department, applications are invited from suitable candidates for hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against the following vacant teaching posts in a Special Education Institution of District Faisalabad.

Post 1:

- Designation: Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I)

Institution Name: Govt. Special Education Centre Rajana Road, Samundri, Faisalabad
- Designation: Senior Special Education Teacher (H.I) BS-17
- BS: 17
- Number of Vacant Seats: 01

Eligibility Criteria

Fresh aspiring candidates having relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply. However, preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience. All aspiring candidates (Men, Women and Transgender persons) are eligible to apply for School Teaching Interns (STIs) as per the following criteria:

Criteria 1:

- Academic Qualification: M.A. or BS (First Division or Grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the field of Physically Disabled or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Age Limit: 21–28 Years

Criteria 2:

- Name of Post: SSET (H.I)
- Academic Qualification: M.A or M.Ed. or BS (first division or grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the field of deaf or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.
- Age Limit: 21–28 Years

Terms & Conditions

Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable.
Duration shall be 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27 or till the arrival of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
Monthly Honorarium for BS-17 will be Rs. 45,000/- PM and for BS-16 will be Rs. 40,000/- PM No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.
Performance and attendance shall be strictly monitored by the concerned authorities.
Engagement may be terminated on one month’s notice or payment in lieu thereof.
Interested candidates shall submit applications along with attested copies of updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates (if any), and two recent passport-size photographs.
Age relaxation in the upper age limit shall be admissible in accordance with the Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1961, the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976, and the instructions issued by the Government of the Punjab from time to time.
Applications must reach in the concerned Institute by hand or through post on or before 29-08-2026 up to 01:00 PM.
Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
Interviews of eligible/shortlisted candidates shall be held on 31-08-2026 at 09:30 AM in the office of the Principal, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School of Special Education for Hearing Impaired, Faisalabad. No separate call letter, SMS, or email shall be issued.
Candidates must produce original documents at the time of interview.
The department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
