CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) is a leading public-sector electricity utility company committed to providing a reliable and uninterrupted supply of electricity to more than 5.1 million valued consumers. In order to provide equal employment opportunities and meet its operational requirements for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), applications are invited through M/s National Testing Service (NTS) from eligible candidates for appointment against the following posts in GEPCO on contract basis with a lump-sum pay package and be filled on open merit basis.

The requisite qualification / experience and other conditions are given as under: –

Assistant Manager (Database Administration)
No. of Posts: 01
Required Education / Qualification: Four-years Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Software Engineering, duly recognized by HEC, with at least two years’ experience in the relevant field.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years

Assistant Manager (Network Support)
No. of Posts: 01
Required Education / Qualification: Four-years Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Software Engineering, duly recognized by HEC, with at least two years’ experience in the relevant field.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years

Assistant Manager (Meter Data Management)
No. of Posts: 01
Required Education / Qualification: Four-years Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Software Engineering, duly recognized by HEC, with at least two years’ experience in the relevant field.
Age (including five years relaxation): 21-33 years

Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling the relevant application form available on the M/S National Testing Service (NTS) website i.e. www.nts.org.pk.

INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS:

General age relaxation has already been included in the age. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years age relaxation.
Government Servants / WAPDA / DISCOs employees who have completed two years continuous Government / WAPDA / DISCOs service on the closing date for receipt of applications, age limit is permissible upto 43-years.
Candidates from all over Pakistan shall be eligible to apply.
Only qualified / eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Test. Only shortlisted candidates falling within merit as per the provisions of applicable Recruitment Policy, will be called for interview.
Candidates will be recruited / appointed on Contract with Lump Sum Pay Package initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable on satisfactory performance and the services of these contractual appointees will not be regularized in future at any stage.
The candidates possessing Result Cards/Transcripts mentioning CGPA evaluation must acquire their Result Cards/Transcripts with marks in percentage (%)age from their respective Institutions / Universities recognized by HEC before applying.
Computer knowledge (including MS Office, Excel, Windows, Internet & e-mail etc.) will be an additional advantage for the candidates.
Serving candidates who are in Government Service are advised to apply through proper channel. At the time of the interview, candidates must provide a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) wherein the date of appointment and the nature of their employment (e.g., Regular, Contract, etc.) should be clearly described.
Candidates, if selected, will be required to perform duties within the jurisdiction of GEPCO.
No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates for Test / Interview.
Only those candidates who completed their requisite Qualifications are eligible to apply i.e. candidates to whom final transcript, degree, domicile and other certificates have not been issued, as on last date of submission of applications, shall not be considered. Further, candidates awaiting their result are ineligible to apply.
Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information or received after due date shall not be entertained.
Late submission of applications by courier service will have no binding upon GEPCO and M/S National Testing Service (NTS).
Original documents along with one set of attested photocopies must be presented by the candidate at the time of interview.
Candidates may contact M/S National Testing Service (NTS) for any query/enquiry regarding written test, display of provisional & final list of candidates, Roll No. slips, test centers, results etc.
GEPCO reserves the right to withhold / cancel the whole recruitment process or of any post at any stage without assigning any reason.
Concealment or mis-representation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of a candidate from the current recruitment and from all types of tests/exams to be conducted by GEPCO in recruitment in future.
GEPCO reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts as per requirement at any stage without assigning any reason.
Mobile phones will not be allowed in test centre premises.
Dismissed / screened out employees of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible for employment in GEPCO. The clearance of the character and antecedents of the candidates from the agencies/police shall be mandatory.
Any agitation pertaining to recruitment tests conducted by the M/S NTS will be dealt by M/S NTS at its own level.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants are advised to apply directly on the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk).
By hand applications will not be received either at GEPCO or at NTS.
The test fee for the said posts is Rs. 540/-. However, in accordance with instructions/guidelines of the Establishment Division, 50% of the test fee shall be borne by the candidates, while the remaining 50% of the test fee shall be borne by GEPCO. Accordingly, candidates shall submit duly completed application forms along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 270/-. The remaining 50% (Rs. 270/-) shall be paid by GEPCO directly to NTS in accordance with the terms of GEPCO.
No test fee will be charged from the disabled candidates being a matter to be treated as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and 100% test fee shall be paid by GEPCO directly to NTS as per agreement.
Test fee shall be paid to M/S NTS through 1Link, 1Bill Participating Banks/ ATMs/ Internet Banking/ Mobile Banking/ Easypaisa / Jazz Cash/ TCS Express Counters.
Roll No. Slip containing information regarding the test center, timings and test date will be available on M/S NTS website at least one (01) week before the test date and candidates will be informed through email address & SMS as well on mobile number, provided by the candidates.
The candidates are advised to contact the M/S NTS 051-8444441 OR email at [email protected] for any query / information related to Test date, display of provisional and final list of candidates, Roll number slips, Test centers, Results etc.
The last date to apply through M/S NTS is 23/10/2026.
The National Testing Portal shall be removed from the website at 11:59:59 p.m. on the closing date 23/10/2026 for the receipt of applications.
No application shall be entertained at GEPCO Headquarter, therefore, candidates are advised to send their complete application form directly to M/S NTS.
A separate application form will be submitted if candidate is applying against more than one post.
