We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sr. Executive Imports to manage end-to-end import operations for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, insurance companies, and
shipping lines. - Monitor vessel schedules, container movements, port activities, and delivery status.
- Prepare, verify, and submit shipping documents accurately (Invoice, Packing List, BL, GD,
Form-E, etc.) in systems like WeBOC/PSW. - Maintain complete shipment files and records for audit readiness.
- Process L/C documentation, advance payments, and import/export bills, follow up with banks.
- Monitor detention/demurrage, assist in freight negotiations, and optimize costs.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and clearance issues promptly.
- Coordinate urgent shipments with internal departments and escalate critical issues when required.
- Maintain shipment status reports, track pending shipments/payments, and provide timely updates to management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in import operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, shipping documentation, and banking procedures.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
