WE ARE HIRING AUDIT EXECUTIVE – INTERNAL AUDIT
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Audit Executive will support the internal audit function with a primary focus on stock audits, retail and warehouse controls, payroll verification, and cash/bank audits. The role requires hands-on audit execution across multiple locations in a textile retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular and surprise physical stock counts at warehouses and retail stores.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances.
- Audit retail store operations including billing, discounts, returns, and cash handling.
- Review warehouse processes and compliance with internal SOPs.
- Perform payroll audits covering attendance, incentives, and salary payments.
- Audit cash collections, petty cash, and bank payments.
- Verify bank reconciliations and payment approvals.
- Prepare audit reports, highlight control gaps, and follow up on corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Education: Min Inter Commerce / B.Com.
- Experience: 2–3 years of internal audit experience, preferably in textile or fashion retail chains.
- Experience in multi-location stock audits is mandatory.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of retail inventory and store operations.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Integrity, independence, and clear communication skills.
