JOB ROLE & REQUIREMENTS:
- Plan and execute risk-based IT/IS audits covering access management, change management, IT operations, SDLC, data integrity, BCP/DR, and cybersecurity in line with internal audit standards.
- Perform enterprise and IT risk assessments and develop comprehensive, risk-focused audit programs.
- Assess compliance with regulatory and industry frameworks, including SBP guidelines, COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGCs), application controls, automated business controls, information security, and cyber resilience controls.
- Identify control gaps, assess risk impact, and recommend practical remediation actions to strengthen the control environment.
- Prepare and present clear, risk-focused audit reports highlighting observations, root causes, risk implications, and recommendations to management and board committees.
- Track, validate, and report on corrective action plans, ensuring timely implementation and closure of audit findings.
- Lead and mentor IT audit staff while liaising with management, external auditors, and regulators, leveraging strong knowledge of digital payment systems, SBP regulations, cybersecurity standards, and threat intelligence.
