EFU General Insurance Limited invites applications from competent and motivated professionals for the mid-level position of Miscellaneous Insurance Underwriter at its Karachi Head Office. This role offers an opportunity to work with one of Pakistan’s leading insurance company and gain hands-on exposure in general insurance underwriting.
Job Role:
- Handle underwriting activities related to miscellaneous/general insurance products
- Assess and evaluate risks associated with insurance proposals
- Ensure compliance with company underwriting policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Coordinate with sales, claims, and other internal departments for smooth underwriting operations
- Assist in portfolio management, risk control, and underwriting support activities
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized university, preferably BBA or MBA
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in miscellaneous/general insurance underwriting
- Sound knowledge of miscellaneous insurance products and underwriting processes
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
