At Gharibwal Cement we are looking for Manager Procurement to lead our technical and non technical Procurement operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. MBA degree alongside will have an added advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of technical procurement experience, specifically within the cement sector (mandatory).
- At least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role, overseeing procurement teams.
- Strong understanding of cement plant equipment, spare parts, OEMs, and service providers.
Responsibilities
1.Lead the end-to-end procurement of mechanical, electrical, and process-critical equipment for cement manufacturing operations.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with cost, reliability, and organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage global/local vendors, ensuring quality, competitiveness, and strong partnerships.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize technical specifications and equipment selection.
- Drive process improvements, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation across the supply chain.
- Lead and develop the procurement team while ensuring effective budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
