1. Assistant Manager Planning:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Management Accounting or equivalent

Experience: 3 – 4 years of relevant experience (automotive preferred)

Responsibilities include analysing and optimizing business performance to drive growth. Mapping and enhancing the customer journey across the full value chain to support sustainable and profitable outcomes. The incumbent will further be responsible to conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop data-driven strategies, leveraging insights and AI-enabled automation to streamline operations and improve decision-making. Oversee budget planning and management to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals

2. Junior Executive Planning:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

Experience: 2 – 3 years of relevant experience (automotive preferred)

Responsibilities include the collection, cleaning, and organizing datasets from various sources. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Excel etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support. Monitor and maintain data quality and recommend improvements in data collection processes. Generate actionable insights by identifying trends that enhance forecasting, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co., is seeking qualified candidates to join their dynamic Projects team at the Gharo Plant for the following positions:

1. Lead Planning Engineer:

We are hiring a Lead Planning Engineer (Contractual) for our Gharo Plant. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of planning experience in the manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.

The ideal candidate will lead the planning, scheduling, and project control activities for ongoing plant operations, production lines, and infrastructure development projects. This includes developing and managing detailed project schedules using P6 Project Planning Software, coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement, and construction, and ensuring timely project execution.

The individual will monitor project progress, conduct critical path analysis, prepare performance dashboards for leadership, and propose recovery strategies in case of delays. The role also involves supporting CAPEX project tracking, implementing planning best practices, and optimizing production efficiency.

Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior planning staff, engage with external contractors, and contribute to setting up planning systems in a high-throughput, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, EV technologies, and automotive assembly will be considered a strong advantage.

2. Manager Interface:

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Interface for Projects Teams with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Plant industries.

The position involves coordinating communication and collaboration between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment across disciplines. The Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules, mitigating risks related to interface issues, and leading incident resolution. The role also includes overseeing documentation, providing regular updates to senior management, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
