Pakistan Refinery Limited is seeking profiles for the position of Senior Executive Fire & Safety in our HSEQ (Fire & Safety) Department. The ideal candidate should be a Graduate with courses from Civil Defence and Fire Certifications with a minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
JOB TITLE : Senior Executive Fire & Safety
REPORTS TO : Manager HSEQ
LOCATION : Karachi, Pakistan
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Executive Fire & Safety will ensure the operability of firefighting equipment, coordinating emergency drills, ensure fire safety regulations are followed, supervise critical jobs in the plant, and manage inventory levels of chemicals, foam, and spares to ensure adequate supplies. The incumbent will be responsible to provide the input for the Fire & Safety budget and track OPEX / CAPEX, manage HSE-related communication, maintain critical event logs, and ensure the completion of corrective actions. This role will also involve maintaining Fire & Safety documentation and records and overseeing maintenance activities.
Education: Graduate with courses from Civil defence and fire certifications
Experience: Minimum 12 – 15 years with minimum 03 years at leading position
Technical Competencies: Excellent knowledge about relevant fire & safety local & international standards e.g. NFPA, OGRA, Excellent working knowledge of fire tenders’ operation & maintenance, Experience of handling emergencies with different scenarios of refinery, Excellent knowledge of maintaining F&S equipment /assets, Fire tender driving licensed, HTV. Non-Technical Competencies: Team Player, Safety Talk, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Emotional Intelligence, Communication Skills.
