LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS.
JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Support Helper is responsible for assisting the IT team in maintaining the physical setup, cleanliness, and organization of IT systems across all locations. The role focuses on cable dressing, basic hardware cleaning, IT asset attachment/detachment, and support during preventive maintenance activities. This position ensures that IT infrastructure remains orderly, functional, and ready for optimal performance, thereby supporting smooth day-to-day IT operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assist in cable dressing and organizing IT hardware at desks, server rooms, and other work areas.
o Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lowering, dust removal, and general cleaning of IT equipment.
o Support with the attachment and detachment of IT assets during installations, relocations, or replacements.
o Help IT staff during on-site activities like system setups, dismantling, or shifting of hardware.
o Actively participate in preventive maintenance schedules to ensure hardware cleanliness and readiness.
o Supporting internal hardware maintenance, reducing third-party service needs.
o Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient IT environment, which supports long-term hardware reliability.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
o Familiarity with desktop computers, monitors, printers, and other peripheral devices. Understanding of safe handling and connectivity of IT equipment.
o Ability to perform neat and organized cable dressing under desks, server racks, and workstations.
o Knowledge of basic system cleaning techniques such as bellowing, dusting, and physical maintenance of hardware.
o Careful and responsible approach to attaching/detaching IT assets. Good coordination and communication with other team members.
o Punctual, reliable, and able to complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: High School Certificate / Matriculation
- Professional Qualification: Diploma in Information Technology.
- Work Experience: 1 Year / Fresh.
