SECMC is hiring for the position of Registered Nurse (Contract) at its Thar site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing along with a valid Registered Nurse certification. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of clinical experience, including at least one year in emergency or trauma care. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are preferred.

The selected individual will support emergency care operations, manage trauma centre readiness, and ensure alignment with health and safety standards.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Registered Nurse certification from a recognized institute. Certification in BLS and ACLS. Valid nursing license to practice. Must have a minimum three years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in emergency or trauma.

Responsibilities:

Attend to all kinds of emergencies and outpatient departments, perform tests, and meet all requirements of SECMC HSE as per Occupational Health Policy standard.
Maintain records of all injuries, inventory of medicines and compliance with all trauma center checklists.
Participate in emergency drills and prepare the squad team on injury handling protocols.
Oversee all facility maintenance and inspections, including fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, emergency lights, and other facilities of trauma center.
Handle 24/7 emergency calls and provide support for shift doctors.
Update communication forums.
Ensure daily cleaning of the facility, devices and equipment in the trauma center and ambulances using checklists and highlight issues until rectified.
Prescribe Over the Counter medicine as authorized.
