International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) is seeking candidates for the position of “𝗦𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿” at our Sheikhupura and Lahore facility.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Execute daily production plan as directed by the Shift In-charge
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) before initiating production
- Check size, hardness, and slitting reel quality as per planning sheet
- Monitor abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, and temperature during operation
- Maintain housekeeping of slitter area and machine
- Coordinate with CERD & QA lab regarding slitting of the mother roll
- Check and prepare the treatment side before slitting
- Thread the mother roll film and operate slitting machine as per the plan
- Adjust knives according to reel width requirement
- Check quality of every pack post-slitting (e.g. hardness, thickness, scratches, edge cut)
- Identify issues such as winding faults, wrinkles, oil drops, or loose winding and take corrective action
- Ensure proper reel settings before starting each job
- Participate in audits (ISO, ISCC Plus, BRC, etc.) and maintain documentation
- Collaborate across teams to identify and resolve non-conformities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and compliance adherence
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: DAE – Diploma in Associate Engineering
- 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 4–7 years in slitting or related operations
