Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyze and evaluate the replenishment plan and net dispatch requirements to satisfy sales needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints
- Issuance of weekly transfer plan with daily breakup for timely dispatch of finish goods to distribution centers.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Achieve targeted Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) consistently (Improve Demand Plan Accuracy level/ Minimize Variability, Adjust Bias).
- Analyze and communicate relevant information to Senior Management in accordance with the Monthly Business Planning process; Highlight gaps (if any); Advise impacts of proposed actions and related tradeoffs; Ensure actions and Demand Plans are realistic and achievable.
Skills requirements: Proficiency on SAP or Oracle Demand Planning or other software related to demand planning & Microsoft Office is highly desired.
