Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
- Organize HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor environmental impact and implement waste management strategies.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and permits.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting.
- Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns.
- Manage emergency response plans and drills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 8-10 years of HSE experience, preferably in sugar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE laws, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
