Position : Assistant Manager – Hygiene

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and local regulations.
• Maintain records of hygiene audits, inspections, sanitation, and pest control activities.
• Oversee pest control and housekeeping in line with hygiene protocols and budget plans.
• Train staff and coordinate with teams to ensure site-wide hygiene and regulatory compliance.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in food industry.

Education: At least Bachelor’s degree (Food Technology, Environmental Sciences, or related field).

Competencies:

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Understanding of food safety compliance and regulations
• Ability to manage time and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Skilled in using MS Office

• Lead implementation and maintenance of Integrated Management Systems, HSE, and sustainability initiatives.

• Manage external certifications, audits, and liaison with regulatory bodies.

• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and ensure timely closure of findings.

• Develop and deliver training on system standards and compliance.

• Track and report sustainability and HSE performance metrics.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in compliance or HSE

Education: At least Bachelor’s degree, Environmental Engineering will be preferred.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of ISO (9001, 14001, 45001), FSLM, FEM, GHG, Net Zero and sustainability frameworks.

• Proficiency in documentation control, QMS software, and generating MIS reports and dashboards.

• Capable of interpreting standards and identifying system gaps.

• Able to conduct awareness sessions, present data insights, and train cross-functional teams.
