SITUATION VACANT: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Institute of Public Health & Social Sciences, Peshawar, invites applications from Pakistani citizens (male/female) for the following faculty positions. 1. Assistant Professor – Epidemiology & Biostatistics (BPS-19) (01 Post)

Minimum Qualification:

PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution or an equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field as determined by HEC.
OR M.Phil. or an equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience:

No experience required for PhD holders.
For M.Phil. holders, 4 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.

2. Lecturer – Epidemiology & Biostatistics (BPS-18) (01 Post)

Qualification & Experience:

MBBS/BDS with 2 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
OR M.Phil. or an equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

3. Lecturer – Public Health (BPS-18) (01 Post)

Qualification & Experience:

MBBS/BDS with 2 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
OR M.Phil. or an equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

NOTE:

Preference will be given to candidates having MBBS/BDS qualifications for appointment in the Faculty of Public Health for different disciplines. This will not be applicable to already appointed faculty with non-MBBS/BDS qualifications.
Errors are subject to rectification by the University. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of posts.
