Ammonia Plant / Chiller Operator & Supervisor

Job Overview: Mehran Bottlers (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Ammonia Plant / Chiller Operator & Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ammonia refrigeration systems and chillers to ensure smooth operations and optimal efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems, chillers, and related equipment. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration units. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations. Maintain operating records, maintenance activities, and system performance. Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Coordinate with maintenance & production teams for smooth plant operations. Implement preventive maintenance schedules for ammonia & chiller systems. Ability to maintain and overhaul ammonia compressors and evaporative condensers. Able to operate ammonia beverage chillers automatically and maintain CO₂ refrigeration systems.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration & chiller operations. Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration & ammonia handling. Ability to diagnose & troubleshoot refrigeration system issues. Good communication skills & a proactive approach to problem-solving.
