SITUATION VACANT: Azad Jammu & Kashmir Information Technology Board invites applications for the post of Director General IT Board. Applications from candidates possessing the following academic qualifications and experience for appointment on a contract basis are required:

Qualification and Experience

Ph.D. in Computer Sciences/Information Technology/Software Engineering or IT-related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university with 10 years of experience in the relevant field, including 3 years of experience in an IT-related senior management-level position.
OR
Master’s in Computer Sciences/Information Technology/Software Engineering or IT-related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university with 12 years of experience in the relevant field, including 5 years of experience in an IT-related senior management-level position.

Terms & Conditions:

Hardcopy of the application along with educational certificates, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and two fresh photographs must reach the given address within 15 days of publication in newspapers.
State subjects of Azad Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for appointment. In case no candidate with requisite expertise and experience is available, candidates from the rest of Pakistan will also be eligible.
Contract Period: Initially for three years, extendable for two more years based on performance evaluation by the Selection Board.
Maximum Age Limit: 55 years (calculated as of the application closing date).
Government Servants working under the Government of AJK with the requisite qualifications and experience can apply through the proper channel.
Pay Package:
- Pay and allowances of BS-20 (Negotiable by the Selection Board).
- 30% of the minimum pay scale as a social security benefit (for non-pensioned employees). Retired employees already receiving a pension are not eligible.
- Annual increments and special relief allowances applicable to regular government servants.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview.
