Position: In-charge Server/Hardware Admin

Job Summary

Responsibilities for this position include managing Data Centre/Servers, Security Logs, Disaster Recovery Setup, Managing Backup and Online Synchronization, and Procurement & Maintenance of IT Assets and troubleshooting of IT-related equipment, ensuring the compliance of Technology Governance Framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Data Centre and Servers – Head Office and Regional Offices with Cloud Architecture implementation, managing storage and installation of Oracle, Linux & Windows, etc.
• Ensuring the Online synchronization of Data at BCP/DR Site Servers.
• Managing the Data Backup on electronic tapes (LTO), following the set Policies and Procedures.
• Maintenance and testing of Data Backups and their placement at off-site locations along with their logs.
• Maintenance of logs for Servers, Online synchronization at DR Site Servers and Backups.
• IT Infrastructure at Disaster Recovery site for implementing the BCP.
• Documentation of Data Centre and IT infrastructure at Head office, Regional offices, and BCP/DR site.
• Data Cleansing (Space Management on Servers) and reporting IT risks.
• Procurement of IT Assets and SLAs along with IT Inventory management.
• IT Troubleshooting and IT Security Log maintenance.

Education Preferably a Master’s in Computer Sciences or an equivalent degree.

Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Position: Manager Network & Security

Salary Level: Up to AVP

Location: Islamabad

Job Summary

Responsibilities for this position include the management of Network (LAN/WLAN/WAN), Connectivity, Cloud Services and Security compliance with Email communications, internet & VPN connectivity and documentation of IT infrastructure with the maintenance of Network and Security Logs, maintaining the backup process, complying with the Technology Governance Framework Policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and maintaining an organization’s entire technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centres, and security systems, ensuring optimal performance, uptime and managing the technical infrastructure to address issues and implement improvements.
• Smooth functioning and efficiency of Internet, Email & O365, Wireless (WLAN) and VPN connectivity with proficiency in implementing the services on Cloud technology.
• Implementations of Technology Governance Framework & Policies, addressing Security issues/IT Risks, Incident reporting, Security Logs, monitoring abnormal behaviour of Servers/Networks and complying with IT policies, procedures & guidelines. Ensuring Technology Governance Framework and regulatory compliance.
• Implementation of security tools for IT Security, spam controlling and antivirus/updates along with maintenance of firewall and security logs to be presented to IT Head on a quarterly basis for reporting to ITSC.
• Supervision of the maintenance Contracts relating to Hardware/Network equipment and services etc. and ensuring their proper implementation compliance.
• Supervision of Backups, following the Policy and Procedure of the company. Responsible for testing & verifying the daily backups, and replicated/restored data for confirmation on regular intervals. Providing support and coordination in BCP testing and its improvements.
• Supervision Documentation of Network (LAN/WLAN & VPN), Servers with backups and Security Logs maintenance.
• Supervision of the diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware (computers, printers, Laptops & related IT peripherals) and installation of various software, Server upgradations, Operating Systems along with IT Inventory System Management controls and timely compliance of complaints on IT Help Desk, reporting the status to IT Head on regular intervals.
• Coordinating and providing support for the Senior Management communication requirements. Online meeting arrangements.
• Handling billing/recoveries of credit portfolio and monthly ageing analysis.
• Support CFD/CAD/SAMI/RMB/LAW Division in routine activities and in provision of data pertained to classified/litigation corporate portfolio.
• Preparation & Maintenance of ICFR data/flow charts for onward verification of internal/external auditors.
• Reporting of ECIB & other periodical regulatory reporting.
• Support in provisioning of relevant data in meetings of Management Committees.
• Providing relevant data during External audit/SBP inspection/JCR-VIS Rating & Internal Audit.

Education

Preferably Masters in Computer Sciences or equivalent degree. IT Security and Network Certifications will be a plus.

Years of experience in relevant domain.
