WALK-IN INTERVIEW: The Bureau of Statistics (BOS), Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab, Lahore is conducting the “COMPREHENSIVE DOOR-TO-DOOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC SURVEY OF PUNJAB FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF (PSER), 2025” in all districts of the province. Applications from suitable qualified candidates as Tehsil Supervisor on a purely daily wage basis for a period of about 180 working days are invited as per the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria:
1. At least 2nd class MA/MSc/BS (Honors) or equivalent (16 years of education) in any subject, preferably in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Social Work, Gender Studies.
2. Proficiency in the use of IT equipment (Computer/Tablets).
3. Candidates having experience in any tablet-based survey will be preferred.

Important Notes:

About 5% additional workforce will also be called for training, while the final selection of tehsil supervisors will be performance-based during the training session.
The number of days of fieldwork may increase or decrease depending on the workload.
Selection will be purely temporary on a daily wage basis and will be made on merit and domicile basis.
The final decision of the Authority shall not be challenged in any court/forum.
The Authority may terminate the contract at any stage without any reason.
Selected/shortlisted candidates will be informed telephonically to participate in training.
Selected candidates shall be deployed in any tehsil of the division, with preference given to local selectees.
Candidates who get training but fail to join fieldwork when required shall not be paid any remuneration for training.
Successful candidates shall sign an agreement with BOS on e-stamp paper to complete the assigned task without withdrawal/abandonment.
Every selected candidate must purchase an e-stamp paper (Rs. 100/-) on the first day of training.
Absence/poor performance shall result in contract termination.
The department will not be liable for any health/life risks of candidates.
