SITUATION VACANT: The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC), Islamabad, invites applications for four Non Ex-Officio Members of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB). IWMB is an autonomous body working under the administrative control of the MoCC&EC. These positions are in line with section 3(3) of the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024.

Positions: Non Ex-Officio Members (4 posts)

Tenure: Three years

Qualifications & Experience: Each of the four Non Ex-Officio Members should be well-known for their integrity and have expertise and experience in the sphere of biodiversity or wildlife management or any other related field.

Disqualification: No person shall be appointed as a non ex-officio Board Member if: (a) they have been convicted of a criminal offense involving fraud, dishonesty, corruption, or violence; or (b) they are or become bankrupt or suspend payment or compound with their creditors.

Key Responsibilities: The Board is responsible for taking measures and exercising powers necessary for carrying out the purposes of the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024, subject to the provisions of the Act, rules, and regulations.

Terms & Conditions: Selected individuals must submit an affidavit declaring their non-involvement in any other relevant business or job that may constitute a conflict of interest.
