VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: The Ministry of Law and Justice intends to hire the services of professionals for the following positions on a contract basis initially for a period of three (03) years, which may be extended as per MP Scale Policy, 2020.

Available Positions

1. Sr. Consultant (Contract) (MP-I Scale)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Maximum 62 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Foreign or Local LLM or Barrister-at-Law or Solicitor
- At least 10 years of experience in legal and legislative matters in public or private sectors.
Professional Credentials:
- Experience in drafting or reviewing Conventions, Agreements, MOUs, Contracts, and other Legal Documents.
- Preferably experience in International Law, policy and regulatory matters, and legislative drafting.
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Candidates having experience in the public sector will be preferred, followed by state-run corporations/entities and private corporations of repute.

2. Legislative Advisor (MP-II Scale)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 62 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Foreign or Local LLM or Barrister-at-Law or Solicitor
- At least 08 years of legal experience in Pakistan or abroad in public or private sectors.
Professional Credentials:
- Experience in drafting or reviewing Conventions, Agreements, MOUs, Contracts, and other Legal Documents.
- Preferably experience in International Law, policy and regulatory matters, and legislative drafting.
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Candidates having experience in the public sector will be preferred, followed by state-run corporations/entities and private corporations of repute.

3. Consultant (Research) (MP-II Scale)

Age Limit: 62 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Foreign or Local LLM or Barrister-at-Law or Solicitor
- At least 08 years of legal experience in Pakistan or abroad in public or private sectors.

4. Monitoring Unit Expert (MP-III Scale)

No. of Posts: 02
Age Limit: 62 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. in relevant subject(s) with 03 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
- OR Masters in relevant subject(s) with 05 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
Professional Credentials:
- Experience in Project Execution, Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation of PSDP projects in Federal or Provincial governments, state-run institutions, or private sectors.
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Candidates having experience in the public sector will be preferred, followed by state-run corporations/entities and private corporations of repute.

5. Consultant (MP-III Scale)

No. of Posts: 02
Age Limit: 62 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Foreign or Local LLB or Barrister-at-Law
- At least 03 years of experience in public or private sectors, preferably in International Commercial Arbitration.
Professional Credentials:
- Experience in drafting or reviewing Conventions, Agreements, MOUs, Contracts, and other Legal Documents.
- Preferably experience in International Law, policy and regulatory matters, and legislative drafting.
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Candidates having experience in the public sector will be preferred, followed by state-run corporations/entities and private corporations of repute.
